career day 2024-25

No matter the city you're in, we want to come talk to the next generation about being an electrician.  This trade is for those who think college is not for them, and want to get a marketable skill that will not have any shortages as long as buildings and homes are being built.  Chances are, we're doing some work in your city.  Lets connect!

8thirty electric career opportunities and hiring!

Why become an apprentice on the way to being an electrician, journeyman, or master electrician, because there is a shortage of the electrical trade and more of them are needed everyday.  You don't need to take out a heavy school loan to become an electrician.  Most states, require you work with a licensed electrician as an apprentice for 1-4 years, then you can sit and take the test to be a journeyman.

8Thirty Electric, Inc. will help you become an electrician and teach you with exposure to commercial projects and residential projects.  There are many independent companies out there who say they will help but there are many people who learned to bend pipe and never had the opportunity to be an electrician because they were good at bending pipe.  We don't do that.

we're looking for:

Electrical Helpers

We are always on the look out for those looking to learn and help with electrical projects.  Maybe, you aren't ready to become and apprentice and just want to learn more of the trade.  We can help because we need helpers.

Apprentices

The State of GA requires 4 years of OJT (on-the-job-training) or 4,000 hours and 4,000 hrs of classroom instruction to get your journeyman certificate.  Earn while you learn and we will help you, train you, present an opportunity for school to you and more.  This is not a Union (IBEW) apprenticeship.

estimators

We have an immediate need for estimators to help us bid on upcoming Commercial projects.  There are more projects than we can bid alone and need to bring in someone who knows the trade, knows how to bid commercial projects and who can work from home.  If this is you click the red box below.
